Hello Connections,I unexpectedly lost my job at WFTV last week. What you may know about me; Broadcast Meteorologist, on-camera work, hurricane expert, host of community events, public speaker, quite handsome. What you may not know about me; Degree in Telecommunication News from the University of Florida, proficient in writing for internal or external communications, storyteller, leader.Because this was a surprise, I am beginning from the ground up. If you or anyone you may know in the Orlando area has an opening in communications/marketing/public relations, please feel free to reach out to me.If you are a news manager and you have an opening commensurate with my experience, please reach out as well.Thank you.

My time as a Board of Trustee for the Orlando Science Center has come to an end. It was a wonderful six years and I’m proud to have been a small part in what was some truly remarkable achievements during that time.I’m grateful for OSC entrusting me to host some of their prominent events like the Gala and Inspire Science Breakfast, as well as being a human canvas for Mess Fest.I met many wonderful people on the board and in the community during my time there. OSC is truly one of the great nonprofits in Central Florida, helping to further STEM education and learning for all, and the best is still to come.

I wanted to share with you the story I did on Cristina Vite's family going through Hurricane Andrew 30 years ago. I'm sure many of you remember Andrew, and some of you went through it just like her family. The aftermath video is dramatic, and there are lessons to be learned even today.I thank Cristina for telling her story, sharing her family's personal video, and the team that helped put together a piece I'm proud to share with you.

As a Board of Trustee of OSC, I know firsthand how fantastic the leadership of the science center is.Thank you Dr. Phillips Charities for recognizing that, the positive impact OSC brings to our community, and helping such a worthy organization through these challenging times.
